Hello all! I feel like calling this a "weekly" devlog is not the greatest, but keeping up with the numbering felt right...

With exam seasons upon us, things have unfortunately slowed to a crawl as all my time is taken with marking (it's not fun) rather than drawing (fun) or polishing the few bugs that still lurk around (not always fun, but it's more fun than marking!). Now, that doesn't mean there is nothing happening, and in fact, quite a lot more art has been done, but making the drawings isn't quite all there is to it, they need to be scaled correctly, saved in different variants, put into the game, checked, etc. It's a lot of busywork that I'm not really in the mood to do when I get a few hours of free time, really! Drawing is fun, busywork, not so much.

So what's been happening? Well, lots of side-characters. Side characters are a little faster to do, as they don't really need different expressions and whatnot, but since most characters in the game can or do end up in spanking scenes, every time there is one, it usually means there are one or two spankings pics to draw as well (think of an enemy in a fight, for instance, there's the enemy itself, the consequence if they win, and the consequence if they lose!). So when I'm showing characters here as I've done in the past, it usually means that there is two or three times the amount of art being done. Please note that this is not me complaining, I'm loving it, but hopefully it gives you a sense of the scale of the project. There's a lot of spankings x)

Anyway, here are a few characters that you haven't seen yet; first of all, a few Dwarves, since that is a big focus of the chapter. We've seen a few male dwarves before but not as many ladies:

The challenge here was to make them look like your typical "Dwarvish" characters that you'd recognise from any generic, Tolkien-adjacent fantasy world, but still manage to make them sexy. So no beards, I'm afraid! I love curvy women, so I think that was a good excuse to put more of them in ^^ The spankings themselves are a lot harder to do because trying to keep the scale consistent is not always easy! Hopefully, it'll look good.

But the chapter isn't only about dwarves, and there are more characters that you'll meet along the way (or not, depending on your choices!)

Who knows what these people are about... Certainly not me, but I'm looking forward to finding out! When looking for side characters and enemies, I'm always looking to cover a lot fo the 'classic' if you will, so we've had orcs and goblins and undeads, skeletons, ghosts, elementals, bandits, guards, ratmen... I want to keep it varied so having a minotaur in there sounded fun! And some more human or elf ones are always good too. I think this chapter is has fewer fights in it overall, but there are still quite a few encounters if you go down certain paths.

Finally, the Rogues for the card game have been done also, which means only the knights need finishing. I think the set is looking really nice! I'm a big fan of the Sun cards. Which are your favourites?

• Coding: 90% (left to do: gallery / achievements/refactoring old things)
• Art : ~75% (left to do: about 15).

I'm on holidays very soon, and that's going to be weeks and weeks of free time. This chapter has been the most massive slog, but by the Goddess it's going to come out this summer! Onwards and upwards!
